This is a very powerful course and it is all you need to win at BlackJack.
It contains all the skills you require including basic strategy, card counting,
correct bet sizing, playing adjusted strategies and sensible money management
techniques.
The Professional Course consists of a pre-course home study package and then
a ten session course. The pre-course material outlines the rules of casino BlackJack
in all Australian casinos and provides an introduction to the winning strategies.
The first step to becoming a professional BlackJack player is to learn
basic strategy. This is covered in the first three sessions. Basic strategy
is the mathematically optimal way to play every possible hand that a
BlackJack player can get against every possible dealer card.
Playing like this maximises
your wins on any individual day and reduces your long term
losses to a very minimal level.
BlackJack has a very interesting mathematical property. Because it is dealt
out of a shoe, subsequent rounds of BlackJack start with different card compositions
remaining in the shoe. The cards removed on previous rounds effect the probability
of winning subsequent hands. With mathematically correct bet sizing, a player
can guarantee a long run edge over the casino!
The method for identifying advantages on the game is called card counting.
The popular myth is that you have to be some sort of memorisation freak or mathematical
genius to be able to count cards. Nothing could be further from the truth. It
is easy to count cards when you know how!!! Card counting and correct bet
sizing are taught in sessions 4 to 8 of the course.
Sessions 9 teaches an
optional advanced playing strategy that becomes possible
once you learn how to count cards. This playing
strategy is slightly superior to that taught in sessions 1 to 3.
Session 10 provides practical advice on operational guidelines for day to day
play in the casino, including basic camouflage advice to
minimise the possibility of identification by the casino as a skilled BlackJack
professional (learn more about avoiding
detection by the casinos here).
During the course you will receive a comprehensive manual. This manual includes
many notes and learning aids. It also includes home training programs
outlining BlackJack practice drills you can do at home.
At the completion of the Professional Course, we invite you to undertake our
post course table test, which is conducted on a one-on-one basis at the
blackJack-mAsters
training facility.

What formats can I do the Professional
Course in?
There are two ways of undertaking the professional course.
Home Study Kits
We have prepared two home study kits that include custom made DVDs (also available
in video cassette format) and other learning aids in addition to the course
manual. These kits are a great method for learning at your own pace.
The first kit covers the pre-course material and the first three sessions of
the Professional Course, and the second kit covers sessions 4 to 10 of the Professional
Course.
You can not purchase the second kit without purchasing the first kit, but you
are welcome to purchase the first kit and then purchase the second kit at a
later date if you wish. However, most students purchase both kits at the same
time.

One-on-one or small groups personalised private tuition
Andrew does teach students one-on-one and in small personalised groups, on
the following basis:
- If you live in Melbourne you complete the course at our training facility
and Andrew will teach you in whatever time structure suits your needs.
- If you live outside Melbourne, Andrew will travel anywhere in the world
to meet you and provide a suitable hotel room in your city and teach
you for two full days (10am to 5pm with a break for lunch).
- Andrew will answer your questions in a way that is tailor made for you.
- You practise what you have been taught on our BlackJack tables and Andrew
will identify weaknesses in your approach to the game and show you how to
rectify those problems.
- We provide a complimentary copy of home study kits 1 and 2
along with a complete personalised tuition course manual with many notes and
learning aids and FREE support into the future indefinitely.

What ongoing support do you offer?
I think it is important that students have support while they are practicing and once they begin playing professionally.
blackJack-mAsters provides a lot of student support, and this is what really sets us apart from other ways of learning the
art of skilled BlackJack. Here are some of the ways in which we support our students:
1. Student support section of this website – resources
Once you become a student, you will receive an anonymous username and password which will allow you access to our online resources
section of the website. Here there are many resources for our students and graduates alike, such as course notes and very extensive
FAQ sections. These resources are constantly being improved and added to.
2. Student support section of this website – online forums
Student’s username and password also grants them access to our online forums. These are great for sharing information. Students can
make posts (i.e. leave messages) on the forums. BJM staff peruse these forums very regularly (generally every day) and answer questions
left by students, and often make other comments to expand on the issue or subject the student has raised. Another great advantage of these
forums is that other students and graduates of BlackJack-Masters regularly interact on the forums. Some of them are graduates of many
years’ standing, even advanced course and master course students, and these people like to help the new students coming through.
3. Table tests
At BJM, we offer you the opportunity to truly know whether you have mastered the course material to the point where you will make money from
the casinos. Over the last 13 years we have developed excellent testing procedures in order to evaluate how good you really are. Our
standard “table test” takes one hour to conduct. During this hour we examine all the various skills the student has been taught in the
course, in order to determine whether he or she is ready to play in a casino and make money. We then give an honest evaluation of the
student’s skill level. We will be able to tell you what your strong points are, and what your weak points are too – and how to improve
them. The table test is a one-on-one session conducted at our private practice casino facility. The venue of this is revealed once
you become a student and book in for the test. There is much more information about table tests and how to pass them in the student’s
forum, which you will have access to upon purchasing the course. Table tests are usually conducted by Chris and cost $200 an hour plus
10% GST. Table tests can be conducted by Andrew at a cost of $500 an hour plus 10% GST.
4. Reviews
Reviews test the skills of graduates that have passed their table tests and have begun their Professional BlackJack careers. They are
an invaluable tool to ensure that the graduate is playing correctly, and to assist in taking the graduates skills to an even higher
level. Reviews are normally carried out at approximately the 100, 300, 600 and 1,000 hour mark of a graduate’s career. After 1,000
hours the graduate normally requests a review whenever they feel they want or need one. Often graduates choose to have a review before
embarking on a major increase in the level of their betting. Reviews are usually conducted by Chris and cost $200 an hour plus 10% GST.
They can be conducted by Andrew at a cost of $500 an hour plus 10% GST.
5. Email support
Even though we have a great support program over the internet through our various discussion forums and student and graduate FAQs,
sometimes you just want to ask a direct, specific question of a specific person. No problem – just email us and we will get straight
back to you. That’s what we’re good at.
6. Telephone support
We are even prepared to chat to you on the phone. Just call the BJM office toll-free on 1800 788 999 and if we are in, we’ll chat.
Just please be aware that we are often out and about, traveling the world playing BlackJack ourselves – so you may have to leave
a message and it may take us a while to get back to you. That’s why most of our students and graduates choose to interact with
us over the internet on the forums or by email. But by all means, if you want to hear that friendly human voice, we’re ready,
willing and able to chat to you over the phone.
7. In-person consultations
The ultimate in personalised service. Sometimes you don’t want to talk over the phone or tap away at a keyboard – you want a face-to-face,
one-on-one, in-person meeting with a real human being. No problem! We even do this. But just be aware that since this is very time
consuming we do charge for it and of course we need to be in the same city as you, so we need to book the meeting well in advance.

The Advanced Course
The Advanced Course is something that students may consider once their winning
professional BlackJack career is well on the way. While the information in the
Advanced Course is not necessary to win at BlackJack the techniques
in this course will squeeze money out of the casinos faster and are
essential for high stakes play.
Students normally undertake this course after completing the Professional Course,
and gaining approximately 300 hours of actual casino experience. This gives
them time to experience some months of casino BlackJack play as a professional
player.
These courses are taught in small personalised classes (anything from one to
six students) by Andrew W Scott in person.
